Insect(Action) is a design proposal for an exhibitionspace that puts the visitor in the position of an insect. They can participate in the education and conserva-tion by dismantling the pavilion, one can at a time,and taking a piece home for future insects to inhabit.The visitor, like an insect, is attracted to the flow-ers on the outside and then gets stuck in the middlewith other visitors, forcing people to (Inter)Act witheach other. The number of interactions over time isshown by the empty spaces created. This creates ameeting space for people that opens up visually overtime, revealing the (Inter)Actions that happen, to thevisitor. Starting as a closed private space, the visitorreclaims the space by opening it up to the public,creating an open public space.Furthermore, at the end of the festival, the leftoverframes will be donated as (Eco)Systems to kindergartens and schools, where they will create a second (Inter)Action.
